Just checking in... I'm at the UbiComp conference in Nottingham, England. The conference covers the field of Ubiquitous Computing - a lot of ground and the projects being shown are really diverse. Basically there's great people, great projects and bad english food.
I spent yesterday at a workshop called UbiComp in the Urban Frontier led by some guys from Intel Research. An awesome bunch of people attended the workshop and I spoke about the relationship between privacy concerns and urban community-building in mobile social software design...hmm - that's a mouthful...
Anyway, today's the first official day of UbiComp. Tonight, I'm going to be explaining Socialight and our Taps, Tickles, and Sticky Shadows to all the conference attendees. Hopefully I'll be completely over the jetlag by then!
